Company search looks at the same market as People search, but organized by organization. Same filters, different unit of answer.
Reach for it in three situations. When you are building an account list and want to know which companies exist in a segment before deciding who to contact at each one. When you are checking coverage, because a company count tells you quickly whether a niche is well represented. And when your sales motion is account-based, so the company is the object you plan around and the contact comes second.
- Open Companies in the sidebar.
- Filter by industry, keywords, employee size band and geography.
- Read the live count. As everywhere in Argorant, counts are free and unlimited on every tier.
- Switch to People search with the same filters when you are ready to pick decision-makers.
Company search is also available to your AI agent through the API and MCP, so an agent can size a market by accounts and then drill into roles in the same conversation.
One habit worth keeping: build broad here and narrow later. A wide company filter with a tight role filter usually produces a better list than the reverse, because role language varies far more between companies than industry does.
