Verification at export, explained

The moment of truth is when you download - not when the database was built.

Most data vendors verify addresses when they collect them. By the time you export, months have passed and people have moved. Argorant verifies each address live when your export is created (or serves a check from within the last 60 days).

  • Valid: included in your export, costs 1 credit.
  • Invalid: excluded automatically, costs nothing.
  • Catch-all: the mail server accepts everything, so no vendor can fully verify it. We label it honestly; you choose whether to include catch-alls.

This is why the bounce rate of Argorant exports stays low - and why you only pay for contacts that can actually receive mail.
