If your account started from a personalized sample, the targeting behind it was inferred from your website. It is a starting guess, and it is meant to be corrected.
- Open the sample and choose Adjust targeting.
- Review the four inputs in turn: industries, keywords, buyer roles and company size.
- Change one thing at a time. Broad industries plus one clear role band usually beat a long list of narrow filters.
- Save. The list rebuilds within a minute against the full dataset.

A few notes on the fields. Industries are standardized labels, so pick the closest one or two rather than trying to describe your niche exactly. Keywords exist for precisely that gap: they match what a company actually does when the industry label is too coarse. Buyer roles are abbreviation-aware, so CFO also finds Chief Financial Officer. Company size runs from 1-10 employees up to 10,000+.
The rebuilt sample is still 25 companies with one decision-maker each. That is a window onto your market, not the size of it. To see the real number, take the same filters into People search, where the live count is free and unlimited.
