How to be removed from the dataset

The self-service privacy request, what each option does, and how long it takes.

If you received outreach and want your business contact details suppressed, or you are acting for somebody who does, use the form at argorant.com/privacy/opt-out. No account is needed.

The three request types

  • Do not sell or share my personal information - suppress the address from sale and share workflows and from targeted advertising use where applicable.
  • Remove my contact profile - remove matching contact records from search and from customer-facing results where applicable.
  • Correct inaccurate data - ask us to review an incorrect employer, title, address or other business contact detail.

You can select more than one. Correction is worth knowing about: if the problem is that you left a company two years ago, correcting the record is often the outcome you actually want.

What the form asks for

  1. The work or personal address to locate.
  2. Your name, and the company if relevant.
  3. Your location or jurisdiction, because rights differ by region.
  4. Whether you are submitting for yourself or on behalf of somebody else.
  5. Anything else we should know.

Verification, then action

A confirmation email goes to the address in the request. This step exists so nobody can suppress or delete somebody else's record by typing their address into a form. Click the link in that email to verify.

Once verified, suppression is applied automatically: the contact is excluded from search and from every export by default, and added to the suppression list so it is not contacted again.
