A list is empty, or has no usable emails

Four messages that all mean 'there is nothing to act on yet'.

These messages look like errors but are statements about the list, and each has a different fix.

The list has no rows

That list is empty - add contacts before enrolling it.

List has no records to export

None of the selected lists have any contacts yet.

A record list was created but never filled, which usually happens when a selection was lost by a page refresh before saving. Open the list, click through to search, re-select and add. For filter lists this message means the filters currently match nothing, so widen them.

The rows exist but have no address

No contacts in that list have a valid email yet.

No contacts in the selected lists have a usable email yet.

No contacts matching that filter have a usable email yet.

This is the important one, and it is not a coverage failure. Contacts carry an address only when one has been established for that person. A list assembled purely from company-level browsing can contain people with no address attached yet.

  1. Open the list and look at the email column. If most rows are blank, the list was built from a company-first path.
  2. Rebuild the segment in People search with the same targeting. People search matches on person records, so rows come with addresses far more often.
  3. If you need addresses for a specific set of named people, use the Verifier and the finder tooling rather than an export.

Nothing here costs credits. An export that finds no deliverable rows does not bill you, because credits are only ever spent on contacts that pass verification.
