Declines on a first charge to a new merchant are common and usually resolvable in a minute.
- Check your banking app. Many banks hold the first attempt and offer a one-tap approval. Approve it and retry.
- Check the address on the card. A billing address that does not match the card is a frequent silent decline.
- Try a different card, or Apple Pay or Google Pay. All work in the checkout.
- Check for a corporate card restriction. Some company cards block online or international merchants by default and need finance to allow it.
- Retry once rather than repeatedly. Multiple rapid attempts can trigger further blocks on the bank's side.
A declined charge does not book credits, and it does not partially charge you. Wallet credits are booked the moment payment completes, so if the balance did not move, no money moved either. Any pending hold your bank shows from a failed attempt clears on its own.
Everything that did succeed is documented under Profile then Billing, each line with its Stripe receipt. We do not email receipts, so that page is the record.
If your agent hit an empty wallet mid-run, the API returns a clear error with the top-up link, and the run resumes once the balance is refilled.
