Your starter credits were declined

The five reasons the 25-credit grant is refused, quoted exactly.

The 25 agent starter credits are granted once per confirmed free account at first key creation. When the grant is refused you get a 402 with a specific reason. Here is each one and what it means.

Confirm your email first

Confirm your email address, then your 25 starter credits unlock automatically.

Enter the 6-digit code, then create the key again. Nothing else is needed, and the grant applies without a support ticket.

Disposable domain

Starter credits need a permanent email address. Use a work or personal mailbox, or top up the wallet.

Temporary and throwaway mail domains do not qualify. Register with a real address, or skip the grant entirely: a 500-credit top-up is $17.50 and needs no eligibility check.

Already claimed for this mailbox

Starter credits were already claimed for this mailbox. Top up the pay-per-lead wallet or pick a plan.

The grant is once per account and once per mailbox. Plus-addressed variants and dotted variants of the same address count as the same mailbox, so a second signup on a variant does not qualify. Nothing is wrong with the account; it simply already received its one grant.

Network limit

Starter-credit limit reached for this network. Top up the pay-per-lead wallet at https://app.argorant.com/start or pick a plan.

A small number of grants per network per week. Shared office and VPN addresses can hit this through no fault of yours. If you are a genuine new customer behind a busy network, mail support@argorant.com from your work address and it gets handled.

Temporarily unavailable

Starter credits are temporarily unavailable. Top up the pay-per-lead wallet or pick a plan.

A safety valve on our side, not a judgement on your account. Try again later, or top up if you are in a hurry.

Used up

Your starter credits are used up. Top up the pay-per-lead wallet at https://app.argorant.com/start or pick a plan to keep going.

They did their job. Twenty-five credits is enough for an agent to prove it can do the work; from here the wallet or a plan takes over.

Whatever the reason, evaluation is never blocked: counts and redacted previews stay free forever, in the app and through your agent, with or without credits.
