Temporary unavailability messages

Search, count, preview, verification and stats errors that fix themselves.

A family of short messages all mean the same thing: a service is briefly not answering, your account is fine, and nothing was charged.

What to do, in order

  1. Retry once. Most of these clear within seconds.
  2. Check status. If something is degraded there, waiting is the correct action and there is nothing to fix on your side.
  3. Do not loop. Repeated automated retries against a struggling service make the recovery slower for everybody, including you.
  4. If it persists past a few minutes, mail support@argorant.com with the time, the page and the exact message.

Was anything charged?

No. Credits are debited on success, never on an attempt. A failed reveal charges nothing, a failed export creates no job, and a verification run that could not start consumes no checks. If you see a balance change around a failed action, that is worth reporting.

Was anything lost?

No. Saved lists, exports already produced and revealed contacts are durable. A failed search loses the filter set you had on screen at worst, which is a good argument for saving a filter set as a list once it is right.
