Not enough credits to reveal a contact

The reveal check, and the reveal that costs nothing.

Revealing checks the balance first:

Revealing a email costs 1 credit - you don't have enough. Add credits or upgrade.

The check happens before anything is unmasked, so a failed reveal never leaves you half-charged. Top up on Home or pick a plan, and the same reveal works immediately afterwards.

The reveal that costs nothing

Sometimes a reveal succeeds and no credit moves:

This email didn't pass live verification, so it wasn't charged - you only pay for deliverable contacts.

The address exists in the record but failed its live check at the moment you asked for it. That is the whole promise of the pricing model working as intended: you learn the contact is not reachable, and you pay nothing to learn it.

Reveals are permanent

A contact you revealed stays revealed for your account forever. Re-opening it later, exporting it, or having your agent fetch it again does not charge a second time. This is why revealing one person at a time is not wasteful, and why the same contact appearing in two of your lists is billed once.

Phone is separate

Email and phone are separate assets on the same person. Revealing the email does not reveal the phone, and phone reveals are a Pro-plan capability:

Phone reveals are included from the Pro plan. Upgrade to reveal direct dials.

For volume, prefer an export over many individual reveals. Same price per contact, one job instead of hundreds of clicks, and the file comes out verified and campaign-ready.
