Set up Argorant in Claude (desktop and web)

The full connector walkthrough, with what to check when it does not appear.

Claude talks to Argorant over MCP, so there is no API key to paste for interactive use. You approve the connection once with your Argorant login and it stays available across chats.

  1. Open Claude and go to Settings, then Connectors.
  2. Choose Add custom connector.
  3. Enter the server URL https://mcp.argorant.com/mcp and give it a name such as Argorant.
  4. Claude opens an authorization window. Sign in with your Argorant account and approve. Free accounts work here: counts and previews cost nothing.
  5. Back in a chat, confirm the connector is toggled on for that conversation.

Test it with a question that needs real data, for example: How many CFOs at German manufacturers over 200 employees are in Argorant? Claude should come back with a population count, not an estimate.

If nothing happens

  • The connector list is per client. If you added it on the web, check the desktop app has synced or add it there too.
  • If the authorization window closes without a result, allow pop-ups for Claude and retry.
  • If Claude answers from general knowledge instead of querying, say use the Argorant connector once. It then keeps using it.

Counts and redacted previews are unlimited and free. Reveals and exports spend credits, and Claude asks before running one.
