Downgrading your plan

Takes effect at the end of the period, so nothing is lost.

Downgrades follow the opposite rule from upgrades. They take effect at the end of the current billing period rather than immediately.

  1. Open Profile → Billing.
  2. Select the lower plan on its card, or use 'Manage billing' to change the subscription in the Stripe portal.
  3. Confirm. The change is scheduled, not instant.

Until the period ends you keep the plan you already paid for: the same credit allowance, the same seats, the same rate limit. On the renewal date the lower plan starts and the new, smaller monthly grant applies from that cycle onward.

This means a downgrade never destroys credits you have already paid for. It also means there is no partial refund for the remaining days, because you keep the service you bought for them.

Two things to plan for before the change lands. If your team is larger than the lower plan's included seats, decide who keeps a seat. And if the lower plan has a smaller verification pool, finish any large list cleanup before the switch.

If you are downgrading because volume was seasonal rather than wrong, consider staying and using the pay-per-lead wallet in the quiet months instead. Ask support@argorant.com if you want a second opinion on the maths.
